On the afternoon of April 6th, the university held the conference room on the third floor of the Medical School office building for the summary and commendation of the 2021 Customs Work Committee and the promotion of the 2022 "Understand China" activity. Cheng Guangfu, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Wei, vice president, Zhang Yuncheng, executive deputy director of the committee, Xiao Jijun, secretary general, responsible persons of the committee and the "five old" representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Jie, secretary of the party general Branch of the office of retired personnel.

At the meeting, the honorable title of advanced Collective was announced by the Ministry of Education, zhang Yuncheng was awarded the outstanding contributor of the Ministry of Education, Wang Sijun was awarded the Advanced Worker of Hubei Provincial Commission of Education, and students, narrators and instructors who won prizes in 2021 "Understand China" activities were commended.

The meeting made a systematic summary of the work of the School Customs Committee in 2021 and made arrangements for the work in 2022. At the same time, the conference learned and conveyed the opinions on strengthening the Work of the Working Committee of Caring for the Next Generation in the New Era of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The General Office of the State Council, the Notice on the activities of Reading China in 2022 of the Commission of Customs Affairs of the Ministry of Education, and the relevant spirit of the working meeting of the Municipal Commission of Customs Affairs.

Cheng Guangfu made a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the achievements the Committee has made in the "Read China" activities over the years, and put forward three requirements for the work of 2022. First, the committee should deeply understand and grasp the significance of the "Read China" activities, and fully understand that the committee's work is an indispensable force in school education and teaching. 2 it is to "read" China activities into the school system, ideological and political work and the construction of party, youth league branch and class activities, and community construction, the construction of campus culture, students' social practice together, form a full education, education and comprehensive education resultant force all the way, help the youth student's healthy growth. Third, give full play to the advantages of the "five old people", carefully learn from the story, influence, charm of the "five old people", organize students and "five old people" more exchanges, more contact, collision with each other out of the spark of thought, the "five old people" delivered by the positive energy internalized into spiritual power, externalized into practical action.

Cheng Guangfu stressed that to further strengthen the work of the customs commission, improve the organizational system, build a good position platform, ensure the work funds, to achieve actual results; To further strengthen the docking between departments, focus on targeted and sustainable activities; To further improve the ability of overall planning, deal with the relationship between the superior deployment and the specific work of the school, complete the annual work objectives and tasks with high quality.
