The School of Business is a member of the Finance Management Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Statistics Management Committee of the Ministry of Education, a member of the Council of the Accounting Society of China, a leader in formulating the teaching standards for the convergence of accounting in middle and higher vocational education in Hubei Province, a chief editor of the national series of teaching materials for higher vocational accounting, and a president of Xiangyang Accounting Society.

The School has a strong faculty, fruitful scientific research achievements, perfect experimental and practical training conditions, strong social service ability, outstanding student skills competition results, outstanding achievements in employment and entrepreneurship. Adhering to the employment orientation, the Business School has produced a large number of outstanding graduates for the society. More than 10 outstanding graduates have been reported by Xiangyang Daily, Xiangyang Evening News and Chutian Metropolis Daily. The college attaches great importance to the improvement of students' employment and entrepreneurship awareness and the cultivation of their employment and entrepreneurship ability. It carries out extensive entrepreneurship training among graduates and encourages and helps students to start their own businesses. In order to strengthen the employment of graduates, the college has established a variety of practical teaching bases and employment bases, which provide guarantee for the employment of graduates and effectively improve the employment rate of graduates.
